House Information
The Space
The house was built around 1886 and has very high ceilings and large windows typical of the architecture of the Victorian period.
Guest Access
Guest access is through the hallway to their room.
During Your Stay
Self check-in is available, or I will greet you on your arrival.
I will be available by telephone throughout your stay.
Other Things to Note
Heating is provided by central heating radiators in the room. Each radiator has an individual temperature control which can be adjusted.
During the winter, the central heating comes on in the morning for a few hours and in the evening, usually from 18:00 to 23:30. During colder temperatures, it may be on during the day and through the night.
In summer, it is not usual for central heating to be used. For environmental reasons, in Scotland it is not usual to maintain room temperatures at ‘shorts and T-shirts inside’ temperatures.
