A single room with shared shower/toilet
This room accommodates 1 person and has a comfortable single bed. It has a compact en-suite shower room and the shared toilet is located along the hallway (this is shared with one other double room).
It is located up two flight of stairs and is east facing so receives the morning sun. It is at the front of the house.
A workspace with a desk and laptop-stand in located in the bedroom and reading material is also provided.

Price
From £50 per night (dependent on length of stay and season) on a bed only basis (no breakfast provided).
Visitor Levy
In addition to the accommodation cost, the Visitor Levy imposed by the City of Edinburgh Council is a charge of 5% of the accommodation cost for the first 5 nights of every stay.

House Information
The Space
The house was built around 1886 and has very high ceilings and large windows typical of the architecture of the Victorian period.
Guest Access
Guest access is through the hallway to their room.
During Your Stay
Self check-in is available, or I will greet you on your arrival.
I will be available by telephone throughout your stay.
Other Things to Note
Heating is provided by central heating radiators in the room. Each radiator has an individual temperature control which can be adjusted.
During the winter, the central heating comes on in the morning for a few hours and in the evening, usually from 18:00 to 23:30. During colder temperatures, it may be on during the day and through the night.
In summer, it is not usual for central heating to be used. For environmental reasons, in Scotland it is not usual to maintain room temperatures at ‘shorts and T-shirts inside’ temperatures.
